I ordered these bibs to use with heat transfers and they did not do well. The heat transfers stuck to the bib and would not peel correctly. I ended up with part of the transfer on the bib and the other part torn off.
This is a great bib! It covers a much larger area than some bibs. It looks great with embroidery and applique designs.
I love the Bunny Skins brand of bibs. I have ordered them in the past from the company that produces them. I thought that the quality would be the same ordering them from someone else. The originals were very plush and expensive looking. They stood up to washings and use. This order was very thin, you can see through them and they just look like poor quality. I am afraid that the ones I got this time will not last near as long. I have recommended Bunny Skins brand to several of the customers where I work when they have ask, "Where did you get such a wonderful bib?". I am hoping this was just a bad batch that slipped through and that the quality I have grown accustom to over the past few years has not deminished.
I have found the construction of these bibs to be very inconsistant. Sometimes a quality terry cloth is use and sometimes not. The poor quality material doesn't stand up well at all. By the slightest pull the poor material separates from the bias trim. Too fragile for an embroidery hoop even. If it can't survive an embroidery hoop, not likely to stand up well on a baby that would tug and pull on it.
I bought several of these bibs in different colors to embroider as a gift for a new baby. The terry on the bib is a little thin and scratchy...not as nice as some that I've worked worth. Also, I prewashed the bibs before embroidering and the colored trim bled horribly. I wound up not being able to use them as gifts and just donated them to a local daycare center.
yes this produc met my needs; I used it for a thesis project (art school); yes I decorated the product; it felt nice after I decorated it; the quality is great considering the price; yes its comfortable; the material is nice; it held up well after I washed it; it was inexpensive; the fit and cut was accurate
If you're looking for a newborn bib this will be way too large. Big area is about 7.5x9in, I would recommend these for larger infants 5m+. The fabric is terry cloth as stated, it's very well sewn, and I like that it has 2 snaps to adjust the neck sizing. Not rough, but not super soft.
My mother bought 10+ of these and embroidered them for my daughter. 2 of them separated at the piping but other than that these really hold up well to food and constant washing. The neck opening is really generous, which is great for a chunky monkey baby. I bought more on my own!
I love these bibs and in the process of purchasing more. They are nice and thick and have a soft feel. The only problem I have seen is that some of the bibs are abnormal in shape and it is hard to work with them if they have a crooked shape.
Thank you!
It was perfect for what I needed and great price! I brought a cricut and am making shirts for my kids for special sports and events. I made my son a bub for his gone fishing 1st birthday coming up for his cake smash.Great material. Will be ordering more for sure.
